Blue Flags 2022

The results of the Blue Flags 2022 have arrived and the Marinedi Group's marinas are among the selected Italian excellences. The Blue Flag project, which also provides awards for virtuous harbours, is led by the international, non-governmental, non-profit organisation Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). The programme has been operational in Europe since 1987 but, following the signing of a Global Partnership Protocol with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), of which it is also an affiliate member, the initially European programme has been extended to 46 countries worldwide.

The FEE has been recognised by UNESCO as a world leader in the field of environmental education and education for sustainable development.

The main objective of the Blue Flag Programme is to promote sustainable management of the territory in coastal municipalities through a series of indications that place attention and care for the environment at the basis of policy choices.
